Announcing Improved Small Business Webpage

By DCAA Staff Writer

The small business page on the DCAA public website was recently updated to better assist small businesses who do business with the Department of Defense. The main link to the page is now located on the top menu bar. The new page features presentations with information to assist with audit issues that relate to small businesses, frequently asked questions, and resources. There is also a schedule of small business seminars and workshops where DCAA will be presenting information and available for questions.

The DCAA Small Business Focal Point, Mr. Joe Greger, is available to assist small business with any questions they may have related to DCAA audits. “I have met many small business owners during my career with DCAA and I have always enjoyed assisting them with understanding their audit responsibilities that comes along with being a federal contractor,” stated Mr. Greger. “In my experience, most small business owners do not know what is required of them so I encourage them to seek out their local DCAA office or the DCAA Small Business Focal Point for any assistance.”

DCAA knows government contracting is complex and understanding the roles and responsibilities of the multiple players involved is key to successfully landing and keeping a government contract. DCAA is here to explain our role and help small businesses be successful.
