Members of the Gulf Coast Branch Office (GCBO) recently attended a meeting with the United States Coast Guard’s (USCG) Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Resident Office administration team. During the meeting, Captain Payne awarded OPC Commander Coins to GCBO members as appreciation for their excellent services.

The Director’s Development Program in Leadership (DDPL) recognized 25 new graduates on Friday, November 4. DDPL is an 18-month long executive level leadership program that plays a pivotal role preparing participants for high-level leadership roles and Senior Executive Service positions.

Ms. Kimberly Moore was officially inducted into the Senior Executive Services (SES) during a ceremony on Oct. 20, 2023.

On October 24, 2023, Mercy Fodje, Branch Chief, Customer Relationship Management with the Office of Information Technology, received the Defense Contract Audit Agency commendation award for her outstanding achievements and dedication in establishing the Strategic Initiatives Group. Mercy successfully established this program by applying the knowledge she gained from the Defense Senior Leader Development Program during her time as Project Manager. The Strategic Initiatives Group serves as the foundation for DCAA’s strategic plan, creating permanent focus groups that play a crucial role in executing transformative initiatives. These focus groups connect and organize the expertise needed to navigate large-scale change initiatives. Mercy’s accomplishments exemplify the core values of public service and dedication to duty, contributing to benefiting the taxpayer and positively representing DCAA, the DoD, and the Federal Government.

OIS DCAA Auditors Recognized for Superior Work

Operations Investigative Support Division (OIS) team members Igor Yegoroff and Myron Antoniw, and previous OIS auditors Karen Yanochko, David Gotlib and Brian Green received the United States Attorney’s Award in recognition of their “superior efforts in the investigation and prosecution of U.S. ex rel. Balestrieri v. Triumph Actuation Systems – Connecticut LLC (Triumph)” on October 5.

DCAA Auditors Help with Investigation Resulting in $600,000 Settlement

DCAA Auditor Diyana Flores, Supervisor Auditor Sandy Porter, and former Auditor Janet Leonard helped discover Federal False Claims Act violations that resulted in a $600,000 settlement. The American States Utility Services, Inc. (ASUS) will pay $600,000 for knowingly submitting inflated price quotes.
