Competitive Salaries

DCAA offers a competitive base salary, cost-of-living increases, performance-based promotions, and awards to give our auditors the opportunity to rapidly increase their level of responsibility and compensation.

  • Entry-Level Positions: GS-05, GS-07, and GS-09 grade levels. These opportunities are best suited for individuals who have less than 3 years of professional level auditing experience.
  • Mid-Level Positions: GS-11 and GS-12 grade levels. These opportunities are best suited for individuals who have 3 or more years of professional level auditing experience.
  • Senior-Level Positions: GS-13, GS-14, and GS-15 grade levels. These opportunities are best suited for individuals who have advanced auditing experience involving complex contracts and programs.

Our auditor opportunities are categorized by pay levels or "grades" ranging from GS-05 to GS-15. Our auditors are hired with competitive salaries that vary by geographic location. You can calculate your salary according to job location and grade level by using the OPM GS Salary Calculator.

You will be paid on a bi-weekly basis (26 pay periods each year) with your salary electronically deposited to your account(s).
