I have had good experiences with the Participative Work Teams (PWTs), both as a field supervisor and as a Headquarters' Program Manager. PWTs provide DCAA employees with an excellent way to contribute their ideas and experiences. DCAA's team environment is very inclusive and works well for me.

The Agency provides its auditors with good working conditions and benefits, and also with opportunities to broaden their experience. As a program manager in charge of auditing standards, my job is to stay on top of any new guidance in law, regulation, government and industry accounting standards; to determine the impact on Agency operations; and to propose changes to agency policy and procedure. It is my job to keep management informed about what's happening in our profession.

My job is well-tailored to my background and experience. I am fortunate DCAA recognized that and afforded me this opportunity to excel.
