Just
do it! I'm the kind
of person that wants to be challenged, and my supervisors at
DCAA have recognized that. If you want to take the plunge, the
opportunity is there for you to do so. I want to be independent,
but still have someone there to help if I have a question.
And that's what DCAA gives me.
For
instance, while I have had the opportunity to work on many different
types of audits, I am currently involved with several claims
and terminations. One
of these audits is currently in litigation, and I will be providing
testimony in support of the government's case at an Alternate
Dispute Resolution proceeding. I get opportunities at that level
and with that kind of complexity, yet I've been here less than
two years.
If
you show your supervisors at DCAA that you're capable and want
to be challenged, you are given that chance.
