As a DCAA employee, you will be able to enroll in health, dental, vision, and life insurance; take advantage of flexible spending accounts; and apply for long term care insurance. You can find information about each program by clicking on the links below:

Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) Program

You will be able to enroll in one of several employee health plans offered by the Federal government. Enrollment in a health plan is voluntary and is paid for by contributions from you and the government. Your biweekly share of the premium (pretax) depends on the plan you select. Federal Dental and Vision Program

You will be offered several supplemental dental and vision plans and your biweekly share of the premium (pretax) depends on the plan you select. For more information, visit: http://www.opm.gov/insure/dental/index.asp

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

FSA accounts allow you to set aside money, on a pretax basis, for certain common medical expenses. With an FSA, you can reduce your taxes while paying for medical services you would ordinarily pay for out-of-pocket. The federal FSA Program offers two options:

  • Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA)
  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)

Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI)

You will be eligible for life insurance coverage under the FEGLI program from the day you start work at DCAA. FEGLI provides a variety of coverage and benefit amounts. Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP)

FLTCIP provides long term care insurance to help pay for costs of care when enrollees need help with activities they perform every day, or have a severe cognitive impairment, such as Alzheimer's disease.
