DCAA’s Central Regional Director, Mr. David Johnson, was announced as a Presidential Meritorious Executive award recipient under the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Secretary of Defense for the 2023 fiscal year (FY). This award recognizes distinguished and sustained accomplishments to an exclusive number of the Senior Executive Service (SES) for the fiscal year.

At the beginning of December, the DCAA Policy team hosted the annual DCAA Holiday Party. Hosted at Fort Belvoir, this annual event provides activities and opportunities for headquarter-based employees to connect. Attendees enjoyed a warm meal with sweet desserts, basket raffles, games, and more.

On Dec. 5, 2023, DCAA Director, Ms. Terri Dilly, recognized 14 DCAA team members for their hard work and dedication. Ms. Dilly congratulated each and presented a Director’s Coin in recognition of their significant achievements.

The DCAA Operations Investigative Support Division (OIS) helped investigate a case with Federal False Claims Act violations that resulted in a $9 million settlement.

The new Virtual Training Branch Office pilot successfully transitioned to the Western Audits Branch on Oct. 8, 2023. The Western Audits Branch benefits all current and future DCAA employees.

Members of the Gulf Coast Branch Office (GCBO) recently attended a meeting with the United States Coast Guard’s (USCG) Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Resident Office administration team. During the meeting, Captain Payne awarded OPC Commander Coins to GCBO members as appreciation for their excellent services.

The Director’s Development Program in Leadership (DDPL) recognized 25 new graduates on Friday, November 4. DDPL is an 18-month long executive level leadership program that plays a pivotal role preparing participants for high-level leadership roles and Senior Executive Service positions.

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has officially begun! DCAA participates in this campaign every year and encourages participation. No donation is too small and volunteer opportunities are available.

Ms. Kimberly Moore was officially inducted into the Senior Executive Services (SES) during a ceremony on Oct. 20, 2023.

On October 24, 2023, Mercy Fodje, Branch Chief, Customer Relationship Management with the Office of Information Technology, received the Defense Contract Audit Agency commendation award for her outstanding achievements and dedication in establishing the Strategic Initiatives Group.
