Mr. Stanley (Stan) Jones is a senior level auditor in a field detachment office who enjoys music, quilting, card-making, and more. Stan’s early exposure to the arts was inspired by his mother, a retired bone-marrow transplant nurse. Continuing his mother’s legacy, Stan actively contributes to his community by volunteering to teach after-school care for high-risk, low-income families in his local community.

Remembering Anita Bales

Former DCAA Director Anita Bales passed away January 22, 2024, after a year-long illness. Ms. Bales served DCAA with unparalleled dedication and leadership for over 11 years, serving in both the Director and the Deputy Director position before retiring from DCAA on Jan. 28, 2022.
Celebrating African Americans and the Arts – E.J. Rupert

E.J. Rupert is an aspiring animated series writer who won first-place in the Creative Writing-Short Script category of the 2023 National Veterans Creative Arts Competition for his script, “Back to Fool.” E.J. will return to the National Veterans Creative Arts Competition in May of 2024 in Denver, Co. E.J. is also a part-time DJ, sings and plays the drums.
