Ms. Fodje Selected for Defense Senior Leader Development Program

By DCAA Staff Writer

Ms. Mercy Fodje, Customer Relations Branch Chief, Information Technology Division, has been selected to participate in DoD’s Defense Senior Leader Development Program (DSLDP). The two-year program consists of attendance of a senior service college and participation of leadership seminars. DSLDP develops senior civilian leaders with the enterprise perspective needed to lead organizations, people and programs and achieve results in the joint, interagency and multi-national environment.

This summer, Mercy will be going to the Army War College in Carlisle, Pa. where she plans to hone her strategic mindset and develop her ability to formulate solutions to issues facing the DoD.  She also hopes to improve her communication skills so she is better able to convey complex information in an effective and persuasive manner. “This will require stretching my cognitive abilities in a way that will help me provide creative solutions to complex unstructured problems within the DoD,” stated Mercy. “I am honored to be selected and excited to be in the program.”
