Members of the Gulf Coast Branch Office (GCBO) recently attended a meeting with the United States Coast Guard’s (USCG) Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Resident Office administration team. Auditors Isabel Weatherholt and Mallory Peterson, Supervisory Auditor Katelynn Cook and Cheri Mulder were all recognized for their dedication and excellent work.
DCAA collaborated in discussions about audit services, USCG concerns, and ways for DCAA to support the USCG in the future. During the meeting, Captain Payne awarded OPC Commander Coins to GCBO members as appreciation for their excellent services. Captain Payne emphasized the team’s exemplary audit and advisory services over the past year. The team was highlighted for their availability to help answer questions, assist when needed, and provide easily understandable explanations of contractor claims and audit issues.
Because of the exemplary work, the GCBO field audit office was invited to attend future Project Management Review meetings. The field audit office will attend and continue building the relationship with the customer and looking for opportunities to provide additional support in these meetings.
