Section 508 Compliance

The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) ensures that its website remains accessible to all visitors, including individuals with and without disabilities. To uphold this commitment, DCAA strictly adheres to the standards established by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (as amended in 1998), ensuring equal access to information for everyone.

DCAA's Section 508 point of contact is Anthony Miklos

Section 508

Under Section 508 (29 U.S.C. 794d), federal agencies must ensure their Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) is accessible to individuals with disabilities, encompassing both federal employees and members of the public. This mandate requires that the level of access provided be comparable to that available to the general public who do not have disabilities. Furthermore, Section 508 dictates the specific accessibility requirements for all EIT that the federal government develops, maintains, procures, or uses. The operational definition of "EIT" was officially established by the Access Board in regulations published in December 2000.
