By DCAA Staff Writer

The Greater Los Angeles Federal Execute Board (FEB) recognized two DCAA employees in a ceremony held on June 18, 2019.

Ms. Eliza Gouré, Western Region Regional Special Programs Manager, received the Distinguished Public Service Career Award  in recognition of her over 30 years of service to the US government. Eliza rose through the ranks distinguishing herself as a superior supervisor, manager, and executive in a variety of assignments. Her innovation, attention, expertise, and special efforts resulted in far reaching and significant results impacting individuals and organizations within and outside of the DoD and the Federal Service. Her sustained, consistent, and significant accomplishments contributed to what has been a distinguished and meaningful career.

Ms. Rachel Taylor, Western Region Equal Employment Opportunity Manager, received the Diversity and Inclusion Award in recognition of her passion in promoting equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion in the DCAA workforce. Rachel truly believes that through diversity and inclusion in the workforce, we will make the organization a better place to work. Her efforts to promote this belief include organizing an annual diversity event for all DCAA employees in the Los Angeles area attended by over 150 participants, speaking at staff conferences, and even giving presentations at events outside of her job duties on her own time.

These two employees exemplify the DCAA values of teamwork, excellence, accountability, mutual respect, integrity, and trust.
