DCAA Director Anita Bales presented the Agency's top awards to three employees at the June meeting of the Executive Steering Committee. Mr. Mark Owen, Division Chief, Operations Audit Support Division, earned the Agency's highest award for auditors, the William B. Petty award, for his efforts in the Truth in Negotiation area, business systems, and compensation compliance work. Mr. Dave Gallagher, Office of General Counsel, earned the Agency's highest professional support staff award, the Grechanik-Collins Award, for his top-notch advice and professional services in the extremely difficult and complex areas of personnel law, labor law, fiscal law, and ethics. Finally, Mr. Albert (Sam) Denney, Operations Information Technology, earned the meritorious service award for his accomplishments is establishing and leading DCAA’s first ever cyberspace operations branch.
