Ms. Terri Dilly Appointed DCAA Director

Ms. Terri Dilly was appointed as the Director of the Defense Contract Audit Agency in a ceremony on July 29, 2022. Ms. Dilly was formerly the Director of Program Analysis and Financial Management, United States Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. In her remarks, the Honorable Kathleen Miller, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), highlighted Ms. Dilly’s breadth of experience gained through her 31 years of government service in both Department of Defense and other government agencies.

Ms. Dilly began her government career with the Air Force Audit Agency in 1991. Prior positions include cost analyst; audit manager; program manager; office chief; Chief, Policy, Oversight, and Systems; Director, Security and Special Program Audits, and Assistant Auditor General, Support and Operations. She also held the position of program specialist with the US Postal Service Office of Inspector General. 

Ms. Dilly graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She received a Masters of Science in Management of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, and is a graduate of the Professional Military Comptroller School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Ms. Dilly is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the American Society of Military Comptrollers Institute of Internal Auditors and holds the Financial Management, Level 3 Certification. She has received numerous awards and recognitions for performance excellence throughout her career, including the Presidential Rank Award – Meritorious 2021 and the Civilian Service medal for Global War on Terrorism.
