Collaboration and innovation at a DCAA Corporate Audit Directorate

By DCAA Staff Writer

Diana Pappas is a Technical Specialist at the LM-BAE Corporate Audit Directorate (CAD). She was recently awarded a CAD Director’s Challenge coin for her leadership and work successfully migrating her office records to a new storage system. The transition was part of a broader effort to move hundreds of thousands of files in compliance with current records management requirements and evolving technology at DCAA. Diana played a key role in the migration. She leveraged her leadership and organizational skills to coordinate with professional support staff, oversee data validation, and develop new office procedures for setting permissions and onboarding contractors. Her efforts and hard work were highlighted when LM-BAE became the first office to complete the migration.

Beyond this achievement, Diana also contributed to designing a customized model for Lockheed Martin’s new enterprise structure, 1LMX. This innovative structure consolidates 12 established segments into three enterprise solutions. Receiving high praise and commendation for her dedication and positive results, Diana’s supervisors shared, “Diana’s exceptional work ethic and dedication consistently delivers high-quality results, making her an invaluable asset to the team.” Reflecting on the recognition, Diana shared, “Receiving an award for doing what I love is an incredible honor. It’s great to be in a place where innovation, leadership, and even a little bit of nerdiness is truly valued.”
