Exemplifying Initiative, Dedication, And Mentorship at DCAA

By DCAA Staff Writer

While DCAA work focuses on auditing, DCAA’s dedicated workforce strives to go above and beyond the audit. Recently, Ms. Jennifer Desautel, DCAA Director, recognized several employees for going beyond their defined roles to fill critical gaps. Ms. Michelle Young, an Operations Specialist, embraced additional tasks to provide vital assistance during the agency reorganization. Similarly, Ms. Fei Lincoln diligently worked to manage facilities and provide support to other offices, ensuring smooth operation throughout the agency. Ms. Maria Franco received recognition for quickly adjusting to successfully issue complex termination audits as the sole lead auditor. Emphasizing the importance of building relationships with the customer and contractors, Ms. Hulya Lopez excelled as an acting supervisor and smoothly transitioned between the supervisory role and her audit work. Promoting growth at DCAA, Ms. Julie Lock instrumentally mentored junior auditors and ensured quality outcomes by streamlining processes. This commitment to DCAA’s mission was also represented in creative ways. Ms. Rocio Roman designed the Air Directorate’s new design logo, representing the spirit of DCAA, the Air Directorate, and the customer they serve.
