What is a Dedicated Hiring Event?

A dedicated hiring event is an opportunity to interview and possibly get an on the spot job offer from DCAA during a scheduled event. Dates, times, and locations vary throughout the year. Interested applicants are required to register to attend the event. During the registration process you will be asked to provide basic information about yourself, your background, your contact information, and you will be asked to submit your resume and transcripts. Registering to attend these events allows our recruiters to screen your documents, determine if you are qualified, and coordinate your interview time during the hiring event. Once you receive a scheduled interview time, you can prepare for the event.

At the event, our staff will greet you and take you take you to your interview with a panel of our auditors and supervisors. If you do well during the interview, you will be given an on the spot job offer, start your security check, and select a preliminary work location. We understand it is a big decision to accept our offer and pick a location, so be assured you can certainly change your mind. If you are not offered a job, our staff will discuss with you the reason why and give you suggestions for improvement.

If you plan to attend, be sure to bring your resume, transcripts and dress appropriately. You also should learn a bit about our agency because our interview panelists will ask.

If you have any questions about qualifications, the application process or DCAA in general, our website is a great place to start. If you still have questions, you can click the contact a recruiter button and send us your question.

We hope to see you soon!
