DCAA Auditor wins Defense Acquisition Workforce Award

Paul Lefevor, Resident Auditor at DCAA’s L3 Western Region Office, received the 2018 Defense Acquisition Workforce Individual Achievement, Flexibility in Contracting, and Development Innovation Award for Auditing. Mr Lefevor accepted his award in Washington, D.C. on February 5, 2019. Paul earned his award for achieving net savings for the DoD and the taxpayer of more than $51 million. He managed and provided technical guidance in the successful completion of 42 years of final indirect rate assignments, enabling the DoD to close hundreds of open contracts. He ensured customer needs were met throughout the audit process as well as during negotiations. Mr. Lefevor’s leadership and innovative approaches in aligning resources to meet requirements were essential to achieving successful acquisition outcomes. Paul stated, “This award was truly a team effort, and I am so grateful to work with a great team.” The Defense Acquisition Workforce Award recipients represent the best of the best across the DoD acquisition community of over 173,000 devoted civilian and military professionals
