On July 1, 1965, the Defense Contract Audit Agency was officially created.

Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation (Booz Allen) agreed to pay the United States over $15 million to resolve allegations against Booz Allen’s subsidiary, Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services LLC (BES).

From the start of September 2024 to Jan. 15, 2025, DCAA employees donated over $70,000 to the Combined Federal Campaign, exceeding DCAA’s pledge goal.

DCAA personnel in Headquarters participated in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) tree lighting ceremony on December 10 at the McNamara Headquarters complex. The Headquarters annual holiday party took place on the second floor of the McNamara Headquarters building later that week on December 12.

Mr. Joseph Bucsko was officially inducted into the Senior Executive Services (SES) during a ceremony on Dec. 11, 2024.

Ms. Debbra Caw earned the 2024 Meritorious Presidential Rank Award (PRA), one of the most prestigious awards in the career civilian service.

Ms. Ida Pham joined the Senior Executive Service (SES) as the Deputy Regional Director, Western Region, in October 2024.

On Nov. 21, 2024, DCAA celebrated National American Indian Heritage Month with an employee panel to share experiences, stories, and ideas, supporting this year’s theme, Affirming Native Voices: Visibility – Leadership – Service.
