DCAA Inducts Two into Senior Executive Service

DCAA inducted two new members into the Senior Executive Service during a ceremony on December 5th, 2019.  Ms. Angela Moomand, Corporate Audit Director for the Lockheed Martin Corporate Audit Directorate, and Mr. Chuck Benson, Assistant Director, Integrity and Quality Assurance, took their oath of office in a ceremony hosted by DCAA Director Bales.

Upon learning of her appointment Ms. Moomand said, “I felt honored to be entrusted to represent the Agency and care for the employees at Lockheed Martin Corporate Audit Directorate.” Angela has 30 years of audit experience with DCAA, holding numerous auditor and leadership positions. In addition to field operation positions in both a mobile and resident environment, she's been an operations auditor, technical specialist, a Financial Liaison Advisor, Chief for Operations Investigations Support, Regional Audit Manager, and most recently served as the Central Region Special Programs Manager.

Mr. Benson has 32 years of audit experience with DCAA, holding various auditor and leadership positions, including Regional Audit Manager, FAO Manager, Quality Assurance auditor, and recently as the Corporate Audit Manager for the Lockheed Martin Corporate Audit Directorate. Mr. Benson attributes his career success to “having great role models throughout my career, who were inspirational and encouraged me. Even more importantly, the hard working and committed staff that have worked for me. Their dedication and commitment directly impacted my professional achievements and successes at DCAA. Success is only accomplished through effective teamwork.”

Ms. Moomand and Mr. Benson join DCAA’s executive team leading the 4,600 members of the workforce as they accomplish their mission delivering high quality contract audits and services to ensure that warfighters get what they need at fair and reasonable prices.
