Ms. Stacey Proctor is the Field Audit Office (FAO) Manager at the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corporate Audit Directorate (LMBAE CAD) in Fort Worth, Tx. and received special recognition as the 2023 Audit Manager of the Year.

DCAA recently announced the winners of annual awards in the professional support staff and administrative technical categories. The Administrative/Technical Employee of the Year Award is presented to someone whose made significant contributions that follow certain criteria for each category. Many awardees accomplish major contributions to DCAA’s mission, exemplify DCAA values, and demonstrate outstanding expertise in their field.

Ms. Joyce McKenna is the Deputy Director of the GD-RTX Corporate Audit Directorate (CAD) office. As a result of Ms. McKenna’s outstanding work, she is this year’s recipient of the William B. Petty Special Achievement Award for Management Excellence.

Mr. David Hoffman received the Grechanik-Collins Award, DCAA’s highest award for non-audit personnel, in recognition of his tremendous impacts to the agency. Mr. Hoffman is the DCAA Deputy General Counsel and has almost 40 years of legal experience with the United States Army and other Federal agencies.

Kathy Fastenau is a Senior Auditor with the Operations Investigative Support Division (OIS). The United States Attorney’s Office-Central District of California (USAO) selected Kathy as a recipient of the 20th Annual Law Enforcement Award for her outstanding work in support of the USAO’s prosecutions and litigation.

We are excited to announce that DCAA rose 25 places in the 2023 Best Places to Work in the Federal Government evaluation. Rank is determined by employee responses to the Federal Employee Survey on engagement and satisfaction.

In February 2024, DCAA launched an optional Service Request Form to the Request an Audit webpage. The new Service Request Form will replace the previous link on June 3, 2024, and includes three new features.

Sudhanshu Singha is a Senior Auditor in an Eastern Region branch office and has five years of experience at DCAA. His parents were born in India and immigrated to the United States after they got married; while Sudhanshu was born in the US, he finds his heritage impacts his daily life.

David Kim is a Program Manager for the Headquarters Policy Incurred Cost Division. Before this role, he gained extensive experience in various positions within DCAA including auditor, supervisor, and technical specialist. David’s cultural background and upbringing profoundly influenced his leadership style.

DCAA Operations Investigative Support Auditor Pam Kochis was honored with the Excellence in the Pursuit of Justice Award on May 16, 2024. This prestigious award recognizes federal, state, and local law enforcement partners for their exceptional contributions to the Department of Justice mission.
